We really have to hand it to QVC for selecting some awesome colors for the latest NuVision Android tablets shown on their network this past Sunday, December 18th. Whether you choose the 8” or 10.1” screen size, these tablets are as beautiful as they are satisfying in their use. There are 10 different colors and styles to choose from. The screen clarity is amazing too. Take a look at the TM800A620 product page and view the details for yourself. By the way, a matching color leatherette case is included with your purchase and QVC is even providing a printing voucher good for up to $150 in services.
Now think about it…Google has been working towards making the user experience between cell phone and tablet closer for many years. With Android Marshmallow (v6.0) we can see the fruits of Google’s labor and vision with an easy to use operating system that is more intuitive than previous versions of Android. One of the standout features of v6.0 is that you can now permanently install an optional memory card in the tablet to expand your internal storage inexpensively with as much as another 32GB. Download many more apps and transfer files to keep all of your music, video, photo, and document files together!
The NuVision 8” TM800A620M and 10.1” TM101A620M tablets feature a 1280 x 800 HD resolution screen with wide angle display, 1 GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth capability, dual cameras, and a quad-core processor that is both fast and stable. You will get approximately 4-6 hours of use between charges depending upon the applications you’re using and screen brightness setting.
One of the major highlights from the video introduction last Sunday was illustrating that we’ve included Microsoft Office for Android apps with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. As I’ve previously stated in other blogs you can create and edit your work right from the tablet. You might also note that Microsoft offers a cloud based Office 365 subscription available for $69.95 a year or you can subscribe at a fraction of that cost on a monthly basis.
Another Marshmallow OS feature I wish to call out is the ease in which you can close any open, unused apps that run in the background sucking precious battery life. Open apps tend to reduce battery time and performance. Now it’s easier to close these apps quickly so you can get back to enjoying the tablet and its performance. Select the square box in the Task Bar. It displays the open apps so you can choose to close one or all of them. Overall it’s a very nice tablet that I have enjoyed since I received it. You will too.
